Tool Kit Review from Pine Hill, New Jersey

I ordered a repair kit for an iPad 2 and was sent a different one than the one I ordered, the one sent out was $1.00 less and does not have all the tools needed to do the repair for the charge dock repair of which I ordered that part also. The tool kit I ordered was only $1.00 more and had all the tools needed. I called customer service and the man I believe was named Robert, was a bit rude and uncompromising to send out the missing tools needed and I offered to pay the big $1.00 more and he refused, I asked for a manager and he said he was in charge of customer service, I asked 3 more times very polite, again he refused. I told him I need to go and call my credit card company.

Six Plus Screen

These guys are terrible. Horrible business model. Ordered a 6 plus screen got it in - transferred over all the stuff to the new screen and the connections wont fit. Called them - ordered a new screen - 4 weeks later new screen comes in same stuff. Do not buy from here. Poor Quality and Even Worse Customer Service

I have purchased a few items from this company to repair iphone 6's. The first screen replacement, purchased a year ago, kept coming apart so I had to purchase on from someplace else. I recently went to buy another screen, opting for the OSM version, more expensive but supposedly better quality. Moments later, I realized I needed a battery; but when I contacted customer service, they told me I would have to pay another shipping charge because they wouldn't bundle the orders... nice. Turns out, my phones issue wasn't the screen, so I contacted C.S. to return it, explaining the issue and they said, sure, send it back to us. I was responsible for the shipping charges to send back. 2 weeks later, I got an email saying because the film had been taken off and put back on, they would not issue me a refund. The film had to be removed to install/test the screen - it was unavoidable! Not to mention, it's a flimsy piece of plastic, one that they can just swap out for $0.01 and then resell it to someone else at full price, leaving me out the full amount, plus shipping it back. So, I had to call them, and then have to pay to have it shipped back to me... $5 flat rate (mind you, it only cost me $2.50 to ship the return TO them) to have the screen sent back to me because they wouldn't offer me a refund. This is the most difficult company I have EVER dealt with. They know you don't have many options when it comes to phone repair parts so they completely take advantage of you. I'm disgusted with them and will NEVER purchase from them again. For the cost of this whole ordeal, I could've just gone to a professional and have had everything fixed.. for less even! Shame on you Repairs Universe...Shame on you!

Bad experience

Ordered iphone 5 battery. Worked for two days than died. RU charges $5 restock fee on this $11 part according to website plus I have to pay shipping both ways. No response to my email. No representative available for refunds. Time-consuming refund request process. Not much more to say. Disappointed. Feeling ripped off. Will not use them again. Better to go with apple store. They advertised a brand new replacement screen for my model table. When I opened the package it was clearly used. The item was was received poorly packaged with greasy finger prints on it as if someone had there hand in french fries while they put it in the box for shipping. I honestly think they deal in stolen goods. They removed the serial numbers from the item and it was damaged. I assume they don't want to have this stolen merchandise traced back to them. I immediately took photos and sent them off to their "customer service" email asking for refund or exchange. They emailed me back with an RMA number and told me I had to pay for guaranteed return postage. I promptly returned the item and in 3 days I received an email saying the items "screen protector" was removed. This was a lie as I clearly had pictures of the item going back to them with it as received. Biggest mistake I made was not googling them before I bought....the web is smeared with bad reviews like mine about these scam artists. Fortunately, my CC company will stand behind me due to my high volume card use.

Do not buy anything from this company. I orderd a Samsung S Pen replacement. The item was not advertised as used. What I received was a pen wrapped in plastic that looked very used. It did not write correctly because the tip was very loose. The plastic cover over the side button fell of. I did get a refund for the part but had to eat the cost of the shipping (both ways). Yes, I had to return the broken part which they told me they threw away. What a waste of money.

They must not have tested the part. It came with burnt out pixels. Tried to get a new part and was told I'd have to buy a new part and remove old part in which I was told very difficult to remove without damaging. If it is damaged it voids warranty. Could have been voided if they test their ***.

First, I must say that this is my second order from Repairs Universe that has given me heartburn. With the first order, I received what I felt was a "Used" part. I say that because it had remnants of factory white sealant on the connector, which from what I've found, gets ripped upon initial disassembly. But, that part worked in my phone. (They did respond saying they test 100% and don't sell used/salvaged parts) Again all I can say is see the 1st photo!

I then purchased the same p/n dock port on a second order and installed it. Didn't work from day-1... Ordered another part from somewhere else, installed it and it worked immediately. After examination the part Repairs Universe sent me on this second order was slightly different. I've been emailing for over a week now with now response. Just trying to get my $15 back for this part. Yes I installed it but they sent a different part as easily seen, even though I ordered the same part as my first order.

They did ship fast! Took my $$$ fast, but after that I must say it's over. Buyer Beware!

So here is an update. I finally sent the part back because they sent me an email with an RMA#.

Today, I received an email saying it was past the 10 return policy.. Hello! Why would you even send an RMA# to me on Aug 31st if you say the deadline was Aug 17th.. Wow who works at these places..

Problems and multiple emails sent to them about issues on 8/10/15 TID# 268142 and 268357 I send photos saying this is the wrong part... They respond on 8/14/15 saying reboot system.. I did... No joy..

I obtained a part from another supplier and it works... I email them this information on 8/24/15 requesting refund. They finally respond with an email on 8/31/15 and an RMA#... Why would they give me an RMA# if they were not planning to help me?

They had my order number and all the above info... Now they've taken my money, led me to believe they would help by given me an RMA# and now telling me to take a hike... Great business Model!

Save your money.. Stay away from these people...

Horrible experience, they shipped a phome with a cracked screen. They wouldnt refund my money or even take the product back and credit it towards another prucahse. They said it was the shipping company...ups...but yet they didnt have shipping insurance so they wouldnt gice me my money back and basically told me i was *** out of luck! Never will i eve rbuy from them again!

The same thing happened to me. I believe they buy used, damaged goods and ship them out.

They blame damage on courier and keep your money. I will never buy from them again. They are crooks.

Something needs to be done to put the owners behind bars. I hope the Henderson, NV district attorney finds out about these guys.

Never Again

I replace screens every day. There screens are very inconsistent if they are going to work or not. I have received screens that are Dead on Arrival and screens that die in as little as a day. Long story short they dislike returns!! as a long time costumer they have treated me very poorly I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. Despite my loyalty they are not a good company there product is mediocre and way to expensive!! There are way better vendors out there with better prices and costumer service. P.S. If you want bad products for way to much money, and to be told you have to eat there faulty products at your expense this is the vendor for you....

bunch of crooks. I had my wife try and return some items that did not work with the task at hand. One of the items was a tool kit for Apple phone. Apparently, there is a no return policy on these items and the customer service tech still had my wife send it back and then told us there was no refund on the item. Problem being, the cost of the items was $20, then we spent another $5 for shipping and got no refund. The item cost me $25 and they got to keep it. You figure it out...

I bought the iphone 5c replacement screen to repair my child's broken screen. I opted for the more expensive assembly that included the home button, microphone, speaker, etc..., so I would not have to disassemble parts from the old screen. The screen arrived in good shape, and I installed it. After installing the screen, Siri could not hear me, the recorder would not work, and no one could hear me on facetime. I called the number for tech support a couple of times, and nobody was ever available, but I was directed to the "live chat" to get help. Nobody was ever available there either, and I was directed to leave a text message and someone would get to me immediately. Well, I got confirmation my message had been received, but nobody ever called. After nearly a week I got another confirmation e-mail basically telling me they had received my message and someone would get back to me immediately. Nearly 2 weeks later and nobody has called me. I ended up taking the microphone/speaker/camera off of the old screen and swapping it out with the "new" screens gear. It worked. Don't let me forget this gem either: even though nobody had returned a call or e-mail for my help request, that didn't stop them from sending me auto generated e-mails advertising some "special of the day" that they wanted me to buy... Really? Don't return my requests for help due to their faulty part, but they will send me advertisements to buy more of their gear???? Customer Service and Tech Service appear Useless with this company. Expect to receive your part, but if there are issues, don't count on them to help...

Samsung S5 Touch Screen

I bought a Samsung S5 Touch Screen from them. After 34 days, It started flickering and then just turned green. I sent them an email an they told me there was nothing they can do because the 30 day warranty was up. I was dumb for not doing more research on this company as I now found a lot of complaints about their touch screens. They advertise how you should not be fooled buy the sites that sell cheap touch screens that will not last. I fell for it and spent $120. They sell the same garbage as the places you can get it for for $80. DO NOT BUY TOUCH SCREENS FROM THIS PLACE.....
